Our 4-day trip is ideal for those who would like to experience the best out of the Mekong Delta. Explore the rural areas surrounding the river and the river itself by bike, boat, and kayak. Itinerary

Day1: Mekong countryside cycling - kayaking – 45 km
	Morning, pick-up at your hotel and transfer to Ben Tre province (Mekong Delta) approximately 1,5 hours.
	We start our cycling adventure into the heart of the rural Mekong countryside.
	While pedaling along the narrow lanes, passing through a banana plantation, fruit gardens, and coconut palms we will pass through the lush green landscape of the delta providing you with the real experience in the countryside.
	We take some local ferries crossing several canals and rivers for an amazing cycling day meeting with locals.
	After we’ve thoroughly burned through some calories we will stop and have lunch at a local restaurant with some special Mekong food.
	Later we continue exploring the river life by kayak and watch the sunset on the Mekong River. Check-in the local eco-guest house on the island.
	In the evening, learning about local food with the host.
	Enjoy dinner and overnight at a local place.

Day 2: Guesthouse – Can Tho – cycling, kayaking
	Wake up early to enjoy the sunrise by kayak. This is the highlight of the day.
	We then take the boat crossing the Mekong River and kayak to the floating market.
	Embark the boat and have lunch at a local restaurant.
	In the afternoon, we will have about 2 hours to explore the island by bike.
	Late afternoon, transfer to Can Tho city.
	Overnight in Cantho.
	Activities: cycling, kayaking.

	Kayaking: from 1 hour on calm waters

Day 3: wholesale floating market
	Today we wake up early in the morning for a short transfer to Cai Rang, the biggest floating market in the area, where we’ll experience the river life by longtail boat.
	You can see up-close the real activities of the locals living on the river for a hundred years.
	It’s also a chance to have breakfast or simply enjoy a cup of coffee by the floating market.
	Finish the boat trip, then we will ride along the river bank to see the daily life of the locals along the riverbank.
	Finish the bike ride at noon, then we stop at locals’ residence for lunch.
	Afternoon, riding to visit Bird Sanctuary.
	Afternoon, transfer to Long Xuyen.
	Overnight in Long Xuyen.
	Activities: cycling, boat ride
	Cycling distance: from 50km
	Includes: accommodation, snacks/drinks, lunch/dinner, local guide, bikes/kayak, car
Day 4: Long Xuyen - Xeo Xuyt Base
	Early morning wake up is needed as we can enjoy the real Mekong countryside activities.
	Walking around a local morning market.
	Boat trip along the fishing village.
	Cycling to Sa Dec and Flower Nurseries.
	Visit Xeo Quyt base, take a sampan trip to experience how the local fighters used to live and fight during the Vietnam war.
	Back to the pier and transfer back to Ho Chi Minh with a lunch stop en route.
	Drop-off at your hotel.

	Option: we can drop you off at the boat station for your boat trip to Cambodia.
