All about the trip

You'll visit some of the peaceful and quiet temples on the grand circuit and a pink sandstone temple with most intricate carvings of Hindu main Hindu Gods, it's known as a woman's temple. One the way to Banteay Srey temple you'll see beautiful villages or stop to experience and taking photos.

Head east of the Angkor Archaeological Grounds to Banteay Samre, a large, low-sitting temple similar in style to Angkor Wat. Constructed at the same time as Angkor Wat, Banteay Samre underwent extensive restoration to bring it to its current day form. Learn about its well-preserved carvings with your expert guide as you explore the temple’s grounds before moving on to our next site.

We continue to visit celebrated Banteay Srei. Consider by many to be the jewel in the crown of Angkorian art, it is one of the most beautiful temples, constructed in 967 AD by Jayavarman V. Your guide will introduce you to the history of this 10th-century Cambodian temple dedicated to the Hindu god Shiva.
