All about the trip

In medieval times, Kutná Hora was the second richest and most important city after Prague, thanks to its big deposits of silver. This was the place were famous Prague groschen was minted, a coin used all over Europe.

During your walk, you will visit the gorgeous gothic cathedral of St Barbara, a former royal mint and the bone church – a chapel decorated with more than 40 000 human bones including chandelier and crest of the noble Schwarzenberg family.
