All about the trip
Enjoy a guided tour of the highlights the greatest contemporary art museum in Madrid has. Meet your guide and avoid the long queues. Get to know the backstories of all the paintings you'll see.
The Museum's permanent collection contains works from the 1900's to the present day. Today, it has more than 20.000 different artworks. Visit both the Sabatini and Nouvel buildings, the two parts the museum divides into. Learn about the museum's history and discover why it was created. See the Guernica rough sketches and compare them to the final work, exhibited in the Museum.
At the end of the guided tour you will be able to stay inside the museum until closing time.
Important information: please note some paintings in our program might not be available on the day of your visit due to circumstances out of our control despite belonging to the permanent collection of the museum. It might have been assigned to another exhibition. In this cases, the paintings would be replaced by another of similar artistic value.

In case some of the paintings that are in our program were not available, despite belonging to the permanent collection, would be replaced by another painting with a similar artistic value.
Please keep in mind that the tour includes several visits on foot, comfortable shoes are recommended.
Failure to show up at the established check-in time may entail losing the tour.
