All about the trip

Experience a unique encounter with a humpback whale in the magical atmosphere and colorful light of the evening. Did you know that whales never sleep? Watch the beautiful animals just a few meters from the boat. Dolphins and puffins with their brightly colored beaks are part of the amazing wildlife of Iceland too. Enjoy the watching RIB boat tour in a small group of 12 people.

We set sail from the Old Harbor of Reykjavík. During the puffin season from early May to the end of August we can watch their large colonies nesting on coastal cliffs.

Next, we head out in search of whales. It is an once-in-a-lifetime experience to see the giant sea creatures. From our custom made RIB boats you can watch them close at sea level. As well as dolphins swimming by the boat.

Then we sail back to Reykjavík and enjoy a cruise along the city's coastline with the glittering Harpa Concert Hall and the sculpture of the Sun Voyager in view.

Our boats are equipped with high performance suspension seats for your maximum safety and comfort. You will be accompanied by an expert guide and a captain.

With the flexible ticket you can change the date of your departure up to 2 hours before the scheduled departure.

And if we are unlucky and cannot find whales or dolphins you can join one of our other whale watching tours for free.

Participants need to be at least 145 cm tall. This tour is not recommended for those with history of back and knee problems or severe heart conditions. This tour may not be suitable for pregnant women and people over the age of 65 years. Consult your doctor before signing up.

Instructions

Please arrive 30 minutes prior to the departure. If you arrive later then 10 minutes prior to the departure we cannot guarantee that you can join the tour.

If the tour is cancelled due to bad weather and sea conditions you will be offered an alternative date.
