All about the trip
The two-day Cape safari offers the perfect way to enjoy a fully inclusive safari experience within just 2 hours from Cape Town. Located on the cusp of the safari lodge, with uninterrupted views of the Karoo, is the five-star Ambassador Suite. Iziba’s crowning glory, the suite boasts a king-sized bed and flatscreen television with satellite channels, offering guests the height of comfort and opulence. A lounge area with a fully-stocked honesty bar features a sleeper-couch for extra guests or children. Air-conditioning keeps the summer heat of the Karoo at bay. The beautiful Inverdoorn Game Reserve has a large number of wildlife and bird species that can be spotted, with regular game drives and other activities to enjoy, just a short drive away from Mother City. As the reserve is situated in the Western Cape, you never need to worry about the risk of malaria.
Inverdoorn Game Reserve provides its visitors with the best possible safari experience in the Cape. The reserve boasts over 1200 animal species including lions, cheetahs, black rhinos, elands, leopards, jackals, Cape clawless otters and many more. Numerous bird species can also be found throughout the reserves. We highly recommend Inverdoorn to any bird-watching enthusiast.
On your way to the reserve, you will be able to discover the many wonders of the Karoo region as well as the Ceres valley, famous for its fruit plantations. Upon arrival, you will be welcomed with drinks and a delicious lunch shortly there-after before embarking on your first game drive with a ranger. You will be able to admire the wonders of an African sunset in the bush amongst some of nature’s greatest creatures. A five-course dinner will be served at the lodge after which you will be able to enjoy a good night’s sleep in your private chalet on the reserve.
On your second day you will be treated to a full breakfast to get you ready for your second game drive during which you may get the opportunity to walk amongst giraffes before making your way back to Cape Town with a million new memories.
