All about the trip

Get picked up from your hotel in Rovaniemi and taken to Luosto, a home to Europe’s only active amethyst mine. Hop on Amethyst Pendolino, a special snow train, and reach the top of Lampivaara fell with captivating views of the beautiful forest. Take a seat in wooden shelter, sip on warm berry juice and listen to facts and stories about this mystical purple gemstone.
