All about the trip
Explore the rich Balinese culture on a tour including a traditional Barong dance show and Luwak coffee tasting. Enjoy the beautiful view of green terraced fields in Tagallalang and watch the sun setting over Tanah Lot Temple built on a cliff by the sea.
This tour will give you an exciting insight into different faces of the culture in Bali.
We drive to the village of Batubulan where we watch the most popular Balinese show: the Barong dance. Dancers in traditional costumes perform a battle between the mythical creature Barong and the demon queen Rangda representing the eternal battle between good and evil.
After the show we visit Batuan Temple in the countryside and then continue to a coffee and spice plantation.
You will have a unique opportunity to see how organic spice is cultivated and watch the process of making the most expensive coffee in the world. Luwak or civet coffee is processed by using coffee cherries which passed through the digestive tract of the small beast.
Following our lunch break we drive to Tagallalang to see the captivating view of beautiful green hills formed by rice terraced fields.
The last stop of our tour is Tanah Lot Temple. The ancient Hindu temple is perched on a rock cliff by the sea and it is a popular pilgrimage site. Here we enjoy watching the sun setting over the temple and the sea.
