All about the trip

We will drive off-road on a variety of terrains as we will head for Úlfarsfell mountain. The ride to the top is a chance to experience the true thrills of buggy riding. And when you get there, you’ll be rewarded with a fantastic view across the whole city, the ocean, and the surrounding mountains.

After driving experience is now time for you to have a break and a lunch in the old harbour. The old harbour is one of the coziest parts of town. There’s a nice selection of little restaurants and cafes, and we’re happy to make recommendations. While you refuel, you can look out across the bay and imagine the magnificent creatures that swim below the surface.

The second part of our trip is whale watching beyond Reykjavik harbour. The boat is waiting as you head off in search of magnificent Mink whales and the other rich marine life of Faxaflói bay. A 3-hour guided sea tour provides a fascinating insight into the life of the sea, and great views back to Reykjavik. Whales are a lot harder to predict than buggy vehicles, so sightings are never guaranteed.

What is not included in the price

Insurance

All drivers must be at least 17 years of age and have a valid full driver’s license (although it is not necessary to bring it along).
Passengers have to be at least 6 years of age, but height does matter. Safety is our top priority.
Legal guardians must sign for all passengers under 17 years of age.
Use of alcohol & drugs is strictly forbidden prior to and during any tour.

Please be at our base camp 15 minutes before departure.

What to take with you?

We recommend you to bring proper shoes. Please do not wear high heels, sandals, flip flops or open toed shoes. Also, please wear outdoor clothes suitable for the weather conditions.

Cancellation Policy - Benevolent

Cancellation more than 4 days prior to the starting date. Clients are automatically refunded the full booking price.
Cancellation within 48 to 96 hours prior to the starting date. Clients are entitled to a 50% refund of the booking price.
Cancellation less than 48 hours prior to the starting date. No refunds.
