All about the trip
Set out on an amazing trip to the historical and cultural centre of southern Bohemia: Český Krumlov. The second largest castle in Czech Republic dominates the medieval town with well preserved Gothic, Renaissance, and Baroque buildings lining picturesque narrow alleys with a unique charm.
Český Krumlov is the UNESCO World Heritage Site. Its surprisingly colorful Renaissance castle is surrounded by a moat where you can see bears being kept in an enclosed open-air area.
There is a large rococo garden with recently renovated fountain. One of the most valuable gems you can see in the castle is a Baroque theatre built in 1680 complete with original stage machinery, decorations and props.
The Austrian painter Egon Schiele lived in the town and you can visit a museum dedicated to his work.
We take a walk through the town and visit the castle. In the summer season we can see its interiors and in winter we can visit the castle museum.
We will have 2.5 hours of free time here to stroll the alleys, soak up the atmosphere and taste some of the local delicacies.
The Vltava river creates a lovely bend here around the city centre and we enjoy a boat ride to have some fun.
Join our tour and experience an unforgettable trip to Český Krumlov which is one of the most popular destinations in Czech Republic.
