All about the trip

On this early-morning photography tour we will take you around the best photographic locations and landmarks of Nha Trang city.

The aim of the tour is to show you unique photographic locations during the early hours of the morning. This is when the city is much quieter and there is far less tourists about. Together, we will visit the Sunrise Canyon, the Hon Khoi salt fields, hidden fishing villages, back-alley markets and many other landmarks of aesthetic interest.

Our tour begins 4:00 am when we collect you from your hotel (we did tell you this was an early morning tour!).

We then make our way over to the Sunrise Canyon, which as the name suggests, is an amazing location to experience the first light of daybreak. After capturing the gorgeous colours of dawn, it's onto the edge of the Hon Khoi salt fields to capture shots of this very authentic-looking traditional salt harvesting area.

We then head over to some hidden fishing villages to see what the locals get up to in the morning. Watching the city come alive, you will have many different opportunities to capture the locals doing what they have been doing for time immemorial.

Once back in the city, we will take you for lunch at a traditional local restaurant. Seasoned photographers will always understand that it's a good idea to have a small break to rest, refuel, share photos, delete a few, swap batteries, clean lenses and drink a coffee or two.

After our lunch break, we head back out into the city where there will be more opportunities to take even more photos of this picturesque location. The tour itself officially finishes at 14:00 whereby you will then have the option to be returned to your hotel address.

What to take with you?

You will need all of your own photography equipment. We highly recommend that you bring extra batteries, memory-cards and spare film (if you're using analog), as there is a lot of photo opportunities on this tour.

In general, this is a fairly-fast paced tour so we don't recommend taking lighting set-ups or other heavy photographic equipment. You are responsible for carrying your own photographic gear. A small backpack is usually the best option.

We also recommend taking sunscreen and a sun hat, it can be extremely hot in Vietnam.
