All about the trip
Join us for a guided walking tour through the incredible village of Ronda!
Ronda is a village in the Spanish province of Málaga. It is located about 105 km (65 miles) west of the city of Málaga, within the autonomous community of Andalusia. Its population is about 35,000 inhabitants. It now is one of the towns and villages that is included in the Sierra de las Nieves National Park.
Built amongst the valleys and mountains carved out by the Río Guadalevín, Ronda is a charming location with a dramatic history littered with outlaws, bandits, guerrilla warriors and rebels. Its spectacular location atop El Tajo gorge and its status as the largest of Andalucía’s white towns have made it hugely popular with tourists.
Despite only being a modest-sized village, there is plenty to see here. Your English-speaking tour guide will be happy to explain to you all the local history and folklore as you walk around. The 'Puente Nuevo' bridge, in particular, is exceptionally stunning and worth making the trip for.
