All about the trip
Join us to explore Dalat properly! You will be shown all the highlights of this incredible city on this day trip.
Our day of leisurely sightseeing begins at 8:00 in the morning with collection from your hotel in Dalat. From there we'll head to our first stop, DINH BẢO ĐẠI, which in English is the 'Bao Dai Palaces'. This tour includes visiting Palace I, palace II and palace III. This location is overflowing with history, for example, Palace 1 is where King Bao Dai lived and worked. You will be informed of many more facts throughout the visit.
Next up we will visit the Truc Lam Zen Monastery. This monastery is from the Truc Lam Yen Tu lineage and is the largest Zen monastery in Vietnam. It is located on Phoenix Summit, which is about 5km south of Dalat city center. The highlight of the Buddhist monastery area has to be the flower garden in front of the main hall. This beautiful flower garden is lined with rows of many precious flowers such as birds of paradise, Australian anthelia, confederate roses, and many more. Flowers here are grown and nurtured by the resident monks and nuns.
After Truc Lam Zen, we'll visit the Dalat St. Nicholas Cathedral. Every year, this important local landmark hosts many great ceremonies that serve the religious life of the locals. This large, impressive building looks slightly out-of-place but its presence serves as an important reminder of the nation's complicated history.
Next up will be Robin Hill. This location has been made famous by the Da Lat Cable Car, which attracts travelers by offering a different, aerial view of "flower city" beneath it. The feeling of floating over Robin Hill is such an interesting experience and with 50 constantly rotating cabins, you won't have to wait long to enjoy majestic views over the Central Highlands and the panorama of Dalat city as you fly over the vast pine forests.
After Robin Hill we will visit the Datanla Waterfall. This waterfall is one of the most beautiful in the Dalat area. You'll be pleased you visited here. Cameras at the ready for this incredible stop!
After the waterfall, we'll visit the 'Valley of Love'. Situated about 5 km from the center of Dalat towards the north, the Valley of Love nestles in the hillside of an evergreen pine forest. It is an unspoiled scenic sight with tiny streams, lush green lawns, interesting decor, and rolling hills. You'll understand why it's so beautiful when you see it.
Our final stop will be the Strawberry Farm. In Dalat, agricultural technology has reached its peak, especially when it comes to growing hydroponic strawberries in large, modern greenhouses. As a consequence, these gardens of hanging strawberries are now becoming popular places to visit in Dalat, simply because of just how beautiful the scene is. Many visitors also come to the strawberry gardens just to enjoy picking their own strawberries, they are delicious after all!
After our day of sightseeing fun has finally concluded, we will then transport you back to your hotel in Dalat.
