Discover the unknown side of Giant Mountains with us! You can try ice climbing under the supervision of an experienced guide on the natural ice waterfall in Elbe mine. Or you can improve your climbing skills with his help and advice. Ice climbing is very difficult that's why it is called one of the most demanding mountain sports. An unforgettable experience is guaranteed!

We will start at Špindlerův Mlýn (Medvědín or Bear's knee). From this meeting point, we will continue 5 km on the mountain skis or cross-country skis to the ice land in the Elbe valley, then through Elbe to ice waterfall. Before starting the tour we will set up difficulty of this tour depending on your experience.

Please prepare for the difficulty of the trail WI2 – WI4.

WI (Water Ice) difficulty which is more focus on ice climbing, ice waterfalls, climbing outside of alpine surroundings.

Level of WI shows difficulty of ice climbing, in higher levels are using marks plus (+) a minus (-) for better severance.

What to take with you?

We recommend to take some warm sports and waterproof clothing with good shoes.
