All about the trip

Alexander Stamboliyski is one of the largest Bulgarian dams. The dam is about 40 km from Veliko Tarnovo and has a total length of 18 km.

The area is ideal for recreation and water sports and is also abundant with fish.

We will have a quick paddle training after which we will paddle on the lake, enjoying the beauty of the surrounding nature and many recreational yachts. We will also stop for lunch at the lakeside and enjoy some sandwiches.

What to take with you?

We recommend to take spare clothes, a spare pair of sports shoes, towel, light sweater, flip-flops, swimsuit, a hat, and sunglasses.

9:30	- Meeting at Veliko Tarnovo and transportation to the Al. Stamboliyski dam.
10:30	- Arrival at the starting point.

12:00	- We will paddle on the lake, enjoying the beautiful nature.
