All about the trip
Explore the West Bank of Luxor with more than 400 tombs of the Nobles decorated with wonderful scenes of daily life like fishing or hunting. Visit Medinet Habu Temple and watch the ancient history coming alive in front of your eyes on the beautiful carvings depicting chilling scenes like Ramesses III hunting a bull or executing a ritual sacrifice. In the Valley of the Queens, you can admire the tomb of the queen Nefertari with amazing colorful decorations on the walls.
We will pick you up in your hotel in Hurghada and drive in an air-conditioned vehicle to Luxor. We will start early so please ask your hotel reception to make a breakfast box ready for you for the next morning.
Our tour begins with the Tombs of the Nobles that are cut out of rock and adorned with scenes illustrating usual daily activities like plowing the land which gives you an idea what real life looked like in the ancient times. Your guide will also recommend some of the most interesting ones to visit.
Medinet Habu Temple is a large compound and includes the ruins of the only royal palace you can see in Luxor. There are amazing scenes of battles and royal ceremonies on the walls.
We will continue to the Valley of the Queens with 72 tombs of queens, princes and other noblemen. Among them, the tomb of the queen Nefertari stands out with its wonderful decorations.
We will enjoy lunch in a local restaurant with a view of the river Nile before heading back to your hotel.
