Montalbano Elicona, nominated the most beautiful Italian village in 2015, is a small but essential jewel of Sicily located only 1,5-hour drive from Messina. Stop in a local cheese factory and try the famous "provola di Montalbano" cow cheese. Take a relaxing walk on the medieval streets and discover iconic monuments such as the Church of Saint Catherin, the Church of Saint “Niccolò il Vespro,” and the stately castle.
