All about the trip

On this tour you will reach the top of Mount Batur that rises 1717m above the sea level and fully enjoy its mesmerizing sunrise views. Physically fit hikers can climb it in less than two hours. After the hike, we will replenish our energies by light breakfast prepared on the volcano. On the way back you will spend some time in a traditional Balinese coffee plantation and sip on a delicious coffee while learning about local herbs and fruits.

What to take with you?

Please bring with you your trekking shoes, jacket, long pants, bag and camera. Make sure you carry only things you need during the hike.

Itinerary

03.30	arrival at Serongga and a short briefing with your tour guide, coffee or tea included
03.40	begin your trail to the top of Mount Batur
04.00	continue the trek to the summit
05.40	reaching the summit and watching the spectacular sunrise views while being served eggs and bananas boiled in volcanic steam
06.20	continue the trek around the crater
08.00	starting to descend towards Serongga parking
09.30	arrive at Serongga parking place
10.00	take a break at a Balinese coffee plantation
12.00	head back to the hotel
