Do you want to take a break from the bustling Korean capital of Seoul to stretch your legs and get some fresh air?

Let's enjoy a morning of moderate-paced hiking to the peak of Mt. Bukhan followed by a traditional Korean lunch and then a trip to sauna for some spa treatments. What could be better?

Often described as one of the most beautiful mountains in Seoul, Mt. Bukhan translate to “North Han mountain” and refers to its location north of the Han River. It was designated as a national park in 1983 and from its summit you are able to see Seoul on a clear day. Our hike to the peak is approximately 3.5 kms in length and 840 mtrs in elevation. The hike itself shouldn't take any longer than a couple of hours.

Afterwards we will enjoy a hearty lunch followed by a trip to a traditional Korean Sauna for a series of Spa treatments. On offer there is full-body scrubbing, oil treatments, face packs, shampoos, massages and many other treatments to enjoy. Just perfect when you are feeling a bit worn-out from hiking!

What to take with you?

You should dress appropriately for several hours of hiking. You will need to wear suitable footwear and comfortable, lightweight clothing. It will be necessary to bring some extra drinking water with you on the hike.

You may wish to bring a small bag or rucksack for your personal possessions such as your personal ID, drinking water, a light rain coat during monsoon season etc.

We also advise that you bring some sun protection during the summer months such as a hat or sun cream.

Bringing a camera for capturing those memorable moments is a good idea too!
