All about the trip

Come with us to see the places connected with communism time and listen to the dark stories about the occupation in 1968, the Secret State Police, and finally the Velvet Revolution and the break up of Communism in 1989.

During this tour, we’ll talk about the history of the 20th century. How the Communist Party came to power and how they destroyed our country. Then we’ll continue to the Wenceslas Square, New Town to show you the place of the Velvet Revolution. We’ll check some statues of David Cerny (Czech modern sculptor) for example the upside-down horse at the Lucerna passage or moving head of Franz Kafka.

If you wish we can finish our tour at the Museum of Communism.

At the end of the tour, your guide can recommend some local restaurants, bars, or shopping places.
