All about the trip

Enjoy a private RIB boat trip to Gramvousa Island once a pirate base. Visit its ancient Venetian castle with a hidden pirate treasure according to a local legend. And bathe in turquoise waters of the gorgeous Balos Lagoon.

Our trip starts in the Kolymvari Port from where we set sail along Rodopou Peninsula. Our seasoned skipper safely navigates the boat close to the coastline so you can admire its fantastic rocky formations.

Once we reach Gramvousa Island we see the Venetian castle towering on the island's highest point. The imposing fort was built back in 1579 on top of a steep 137-meter high rock.

The most beautiful place to have a swim in Greece is the Balos Lagoon. Its shallow crystal clear waters invite for a great snorkeling experience.

After some relaxation and swimming in the Balos Lagoon it is finally time to explore the legendary castle. We will be awarded for the 20-minute climb up by a spectacular panoramic view of the sea, the island and its shore with an old shipwreck.

On the way back to the Kolymvari Port we can enjoy the view of small secluded bays and maybe have a quick swim in one we can't resist.

Speedboat tours are not suitable for those who are not in good health. This trip is not recommended for people suffering from boat sickness, fear of speed or water, non-swimmers, disabled people or people with mobility problems, children below 5 years of age or for any children or adults who for some reason could have issues joining a speedboat tour.

What to take with you?

Please bring your swimsuit, towel, hat, sunglasses, sunscreen and camera. You may want to bring your own snorkeling equipment as well. In spring and autumn we recommend to bring your jacket as well.
