All about the trip

Explore Cairo and see its major sights on a full-day sightseeing tour either from your Cairo hotel or from the airport during a layover. See the Pyramids of Giza guarded by the Great Sphinx. Admire the Tutankhamun Golden Collection in the Egyptian Museum and take a refreshing boat ride on the Nile.

Our first stop is the Museum of Egyptian Antiquities housing more than 120 000 valuable artifacts. We explore its 4 collections: Old Kingdom, Middle Kingdom, New Kingdom and the Tutankhamun Golden Collection.

Then we can take a 40-min boat ride on the river Nile to refresh ourselves with a pleasant breeze and enjoy the view of Cairo.

Following our lunch in a local riverside restaurant we continue to the Giza Plateau. We will see the Great Pyramid of Cheops and the pyramids of Chephren and Mycerinus. We conclude the visit at the mysterious Sphinx.

You can spend some time shopping for a few souvenirs before we return back to your hotel or the airport.
